Welcome to B3!
B3 are a lively group, consisting of 12 girls and 17 boys. We are kind, caring and responsible children who are developing our learning skills. We enjoy making each other smile and we are looking forward to working hard and trying our best to challenge ourselves. We have lots of similarities but we also recognise and appreciate our differences. We are looking forward to getting rewards for our good behaviour and hard work!
We are very excited to be in Year 3 and are looking forward to a fantastic year ahead!
If you have any queries or questions, don't hesitate to come and see our class teacher, Mrs Lowden, or our teaching assistants, Mrs Sherwood and Mrs Wardell.
Please check our Class Page every week to find out what we have been doing and to see photographs of our activities and achievements. You can also discover lots of useful information about daily life in Year 3 and resources to help with learning.
B3 Back to School Information and Reminders
Pencil Cases - Please check that your child has everything required: sharpened HB pencils, blue handwriting pen (if they have their pen licence), rubber, pencil sharpener, whiteboard pen (ideally thin-nibbed), a highlighter and a 30cm ruler (non-bendy and non-folding please). All these items are available, at a very reasonable cost, from the School Shop. If your child comes in with money, they can visit the shop at Break or Lunchtime.
PE Kit and Trainers - Please ensure that your child has their full PE kit in school for the whole week. Every week we have both an indoor and outdoor PE session. It is essential that children have an outdoor kit to wear as we are outside, even in cold weather. Please check our 'Useful Information and Resources - Daily Life' section for a full list of what is required.
Reading - Thank you to all of you who supported your child in reading a minimum of 15 times over the Christmas holiday. We had our highest percentage of Super Readers so far this academic year: 62%. We still have a way to go to catch up with the higher attaining classes but this is great progress.
