One week closer to holidays!
This week in M3 we have been learning about news reports in English. We have been looking at Jack & the beanstalk and Goldilocks, but in a different way: they were reports of a newspaper! That way, we have learned about the main elements of news reports, such as the headline, and next week we will write our own reports.
In Maths, we have been working with additions and subtractions, but using two different methods: partitioning, and adding the closer number bond to 10. We have also been working with mental calculation, so we can become quick mathematicians!
This week we had Art, and we had the opportunity to use charcoals to paint peppers of different colours. Oh, the classroom was really messy when we finished, but it was really fun!
On Friday, we have celebrated Red Nose Day, and we have made a chain throughout the school to pass balloons around, but without using our hands!
We need to remind you that next week we have our Learning Assembly, and all parents are welcome to attend!
Have a nice weekend!
