Our final week of the Spring Term has been another busy one!
In English, after editing, we finished off our fables, making sure we included the moral of the story.
We had the chance to go and see the books that were available at the book fair. There were lots that we really liked and we were hopeful that we could buy one.
We continued with our fraction work in Maths, moving on to investigate equivalent fractions and then adding fractions with the same denominators. We also continued with our morning Maths Meetings; an opportunity to develop our mental maths knowledge and rapid recall skills.
Our Ancient Egypt History topic concluded with finding out about the discovery of King Tutankhamun's tomb and writing a diary entry from the point of view of Howard Carter. We also found out about hieroglyphics. We used them to write our name on a cartouche and then decorated a papyrus bookmark.
