Learning and achieving together

Proud to be part of the Bushey Primary Education Federation - Executive Head Mrs C Holliman

Week 15 - 19th December

What a fantastic week it has been! On Monday, we had our class celebration where we got all snuggly in our pyjamas and watched a Christmas film. We sipped on hot chocolate and munched on popcorn whilst we watched and then we played a few Christmas games.

On Tuesday, we turned ourselves into elves! We had to complete the fiddly craft activity to do this and were happy with the result of our hard work. We then had a mystery to solve: someone had stolen one of Mrs Claus’ mince pies! In order to solve the problem, we had to solve different clues involving lots of data and tables. This helped us to practise our problem solving skills and helped us to read data which was a continuation of the work we had been doing in Maths the previous week.

On Wednesday, we enjoyed watched the Bushey Manor Talent Show. Some of the judges were a little scary but I think we can safely say that our talent won them over! What a talented bunch! We were so proud of Kassi and Molly Gaffney for taking part in the talent show and loved their dance. We could tell that they had been practising hard! Huey was a fantastic comedian and magician, full of confidence and so supportive to the other children who were participating. Well done Kassi and Molly Gaffney for taking part! Well done Huey for getting first place!

Wednesday ended with an assembly to celebrate all of the children who had full attendance and those who hadn’t got any behaviour points all year. Well done to those children!

Have a fantastic Christmas and New Year and we will see each other again in January!
