A short week, but an intense week!
In Maths this week, M3 have been learning about lines: vertical and horizontal lines, parallel and perpendicular lines, etc. And we have been looking for them in the objects in the classroom, 2D shapes and 3D shapes.
In English, we have been discussing about deforestation, and now that we have a strong opinion about it, we have even written a letter to the President of Brazil, Michel Temer, which we will type up on the computer to send it next week.
In Geography, we have been learning about the different layers of the rainforest: the emergent, the canopy, the understory and the forest floor. We have been talking about the light and rain each layer receives and the animals that live there.
Finally, we are going to try new for next week. If you read this post and tell Miss Prieto the password "sloth" on Monday, you will receive one Achievement Point.
See you on Monday!
