In English this week, we enjoyed writing our own instructional texts. We tried hard to include a variety of organisational and language features and took time to consider the purpose and audience of the text. Next week, we will be beginning to explore a different genre of text, recount writing.
In Maths this week, we focused on comparing and ordering numbers. Using practical resources and a speaking frame, we worked in partners to make and justify estimates. Next week, we will be rounding numbers to multiples of 10 and 100 and exploring different units of measurement.
I have been so impressed with the high level of Home Learning that has been handed in so far this half term. During Show and Tell sessions, the children are inspiring each other with interesting ideas for their games, bright and detailed art work and creative dragon poetry. Keep it up M3!
