Thank you to those of you who came to visit us at our ‘At Home Session, this week. If you didn’t manage to make it, there will be another one later on in the year, so you can see us in action then! During this time, we were demonstrating all the different methods we have been learning and practising, to help us solve addition and find the difference problems. We will continue to build on this next term, when we begin to look at taking one number away from another.
This week, we were also lucky enough to go on a local walk of the area surrounding the school. We looked at what land is currently being used for. By comparing the pictures taken on our walk, with old photographs of Bushey, we could see how our local area has changed and developed over time.
Next term, we will be using the information learnt about Bushey to write a non-chronological report to share our learning with others. We have started to explore what non-chronological reports look like, even having a go at writing our own about a made up creature, which were very funny to read.
We ended the week with our class celebration, home cinema time! We had a lovely afternoon in our pyjamas, watching Angry Birds with our teddies and enjoying tasty treats. This term was a fantastic start to the year for M3, we are proud of all our achievements and look forward to next half term!
