On Tuesday we visited the Wyllyotts Theatre in Potter Bar to see William Shakespeare’s, The Tempest. Everyone was extremely excited and couldn’t wait for the performance to start. As soon as the lights when down a hush fell and we were transported to an island…
Tiegh in our class, was chosen to be a member of the cast. He became Sebastian and was soon up on stage with the other actors, playing his part well. He will be forever remembered for his lion impression! Tiegh you were amazing.
The children made us proud by their excellent behaviour and attentiveness. Well done M6.
Following this work our children have completed a play review and created wonderful posters.
Next week our focus is on grammar and we will look at the Roald Dahl story Esio Trot (look carefully at the title and read it backwards!)
Wednesday saw our last match in Tag rugby. Half of M6 & B6 joined together and battled it out on the field which much joy and enthusiasm. Also, at the same time half of M6 & B6 were leading games as play leaders. The final part of their training has now been given and the children rose to the challenge brilliantly. A rota will be arranged so all play leaders will have a turn to lead games at the infant school. This, I know, has proved very popular with the infant and junior children alike.
Harvest assembly saw the whole school unite together to celebrate harvest. Our children spoke about how harvest is celebrated across the world.
A huge thank you to all who have supported Watford Foodbank this year. I know they are very grateful for the gifts of food that they can dispense to those in need.
