We made it! What a fabulous first half term B5, I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our learning together. Your resilience, determination and collaboration in your learning has gone from strength to strength - it is so difficult to select writer and mathematician of the week, as so many of you deserve it! Please be proud of all you have achieved this half term.
This week has been full of diary entries from Nelson Mandela's perspective, and the writing was breath-taking and moved me to tears! Maths has seen us investigate square, cube and prime numbers. We have had fun using arrays, denes and games to help broaden and develop our understanding. Bikeabilty has to be mentioned, as so many children were out cycling in the afternoons - the instructors were full of praise for the children and I look forward to presenting them with their certificates after half term.
Today we sent home some fun spelling challenges and a spelling bookmark to help us perfect our Year 5/6 words over the half term. Have a great half term! Keep reading!
