The first thing I would like to say to M5 is well done! You have amazed me with the maturity you have approached learning with in class this week. Beginning to look at South Africa, it was evident that many of you had taken the time to start your Home Learning in great detail and had been having some fantastic learning conversations at home also. Most of our discussions were around inequality and you were making fabulous links, while sharing your opinion in such a sensitive way, showing your depth in understanding. We will continue to explore South Africa, both geographically and historically, so keep this up!
We ended the week with a trip to the Circus and what fun we had! Having had our partners picked randomly to walk there with, it was lovely to see new friendships building and conversation flowing. Our Window of Kindness has overflowed to the door now and it is becoming very clear to see we are a class made up of kind and thoughtful children!
The Circus itself was amazing, we got to see fantastic acts such as the Black Eagles, who were doing backflips, jumping through hoops and headstands- this act was definitely one of our favourites! We also enjoyed watching hula-hooping, a silk tissue act and of course Leo the Lion dancing!
Next week will see our Reading Breakfast and our At Home Session take place, so there will be plenty of opportunities to see us showing off our learning! We look forward to seeing you!
