How has life changed within living memory?
This work has been inspired by Mr T - a very passionate History specialist, who we think is brilliant! The aim of his work is to ensure that your children continue to develop their understanding of the past.
This particular piece of work will introduce children to the concept of 'living memory' as a chronological concept of continuity and change and its importance as evidence through showing both similarity and difference.
The children will enjoy collecting this evidence, as they get to do it by speaking to their family, friends and relatives over the phone, email, Facetime or Skype! They can then present their findings however they would like e.g. Powerpoint, Non-chronological report, drawing or piece of writing.
Please use the attachment as a guidance for their work.
