For today’s learning, you have been provided with discussion problems and extension work based on place value – numbers up to ten million. If you want a break from worksheets, why not design a game that involves the player having to use place value knowledge to win? Or you could create an information poster that informs children in year 5 how to read, write and solve problems involving numbers up to ten million? There’s a whole range of activities that you can complete for maths, not just a worksheet. You are a better mathematician if you can demonstrate your understanding of the numbers, rules, methods and patterns that you are working with. Remember to share your ideas; you never know, your work may just help someone else to learn! Be brave, we know you can do this.
