This week, we have started our new book Varjak Paw and we are busy exploring how the characters feel and their responses to the events that unfold. After our conscience alley on Friday, we will be writing an inner monologue to show the dilemma facing Varjak Paw: should he stay and fight with his grandfather or should he leave to explore the Outside and possibly save his family? We will also be writing newspaper articles about one of the mysterious events that takes place in our book. In Maths, we will continue our work on line graphs and start exploring time! In Science, we will be finishing our unit on Animals and their Habitats. And of course, we will be busy preparing our assembly and we hope to see many of you on Thursday to find out what our journey to Gaveston Hall was like!
Term starts for children on September 4th - happy holidays!
