Week 2 (w/c 29/04)

We have thoroughly enjoyed our in English this week, as we have been debating, thinking of both the for and against for lots of controversial issues. We looked at 'Should KS2 SATs be abolished?' in detail and wrote a detailed balanced argument to Theresa May. Lots of interesting and relevant points!

In Maths, we have been consolidating our written methods and working with all four mathematical operations.

Our historical enquiry on the Vikings continued this week by identifying more Viking art and having a go at sketching our own Viking knot patterns - very impressive results!

In Science, we identified the main food groups and the impact these have on our bodies. We looked at food labels to see which food groups were featured in some popular foods.

In RE, we explored ultimate questions and discussed our difference in opinions.

Term starts for children on September 4th - happy holidays!
