Half way through the half term already - where is time going?
This week in Maths we have started investigating shape and have looked for parallel and perpendicular lines around the school and also searched for right angles.
In English, we have finished our play scripts and have moved on to our next topic which is based on the circus. The class blew me away with their vocabulary; they can up with about 25 synonyms for amazing without using a thesaurus!
In Geography, we have continued to look at the impact of climate change on our environment and the link between the burning of fossil fuels and the changes.
In Science, we spent time sorting objects into solids, liquids and gases and started to think about how materials change and what is taking place with the particles within.
In RE, the children have started to think about their place in the world and how they are influenced by people around them.
It is great to see that so many parents have signed up to Marvellous Me - it is lovely for me to send home positive messages throughout the day. It is also great to hear that these messages are encouraging the children to talk
more about what they have been doing in their learning. Next week I am going to try and master the art of sending photographs of excellent work!
