What an exciting week it has been! Huge thanks to Mrs Jardella for organising the week - we have all had a lot of fun!
The week began with a very interesting assembly, led by Dr. Roberts, who gave us lots of information about bugs that live both outside and inside our bodies! On Tuesday and Thursday, we spent time with Badgers Reception class and completed a variety of scientific investigations, including Bubbles are Best and the Un-Nature Trail. Have a look at the photos below to see us in action! Towards the end of the week, we looked more closely at human and animal skeletons, which linked in well with our current Rainforest topic. On Friday afternoon, we completed a Science/DT project, investigating how to design and build a stable, sturdy bridge, capable of holding a heavy weight. Thank you to all of the parents who came to work with us - your building skills were much appreciated!
Next week, we continue our work on rainforests and investigate how deforestation affects the lives of tribes. In Maths, we are learning and exploring effective ways of presenting different types of data.
