Week 4

The children have had a fantastic and successful week of learning.
In Maths, the children have been comparing and ordering 3 digit numbers. At the end of the week, the children began learning how to round numbers to the nearest 10 and 100. Next week we will begin looking at units of measure involving weight.
In English, the children have been continuing their work on Monsterology where they have been creating their own imaginative mythical creatures and writing detailed information about them. At the end of the week, they began looking at the features of instruction texts. This will continue next week.
Throughout the week, the children have been working on our topic of 'Where I Live' which has involved using atlases to locate different cities as well as rivers and seas around the UK. The children have worked exceptionally hard this week, well done M3!
Term starts for children on September 4th - happy holidays!
