Another week of outstanding learning. This week we began to explore measurement in Maths - firstly we thought about units of measurements and why we needed different units. This was followed by thinking which units we used when and why. We also began to think about how else we could measure objects in our room if we didn't have rulers. The children also investigated patterns and relationships. They discovered that the length of your foot is equal to the length of your foot; also that the span across your back from one middle finger to the other is equal to their height. What other patterns can you explore/investigate at home?
