Another brilliant week for B6!
In English, we started to create our own version of Arthur Spiderwick's Field Guide. We created our own creatures and have begun to write non-chronological reports about them.
Next week, we will add diary entries, newspaper snippets and annotations to our drawings of our creatures in the style of Arthur Spiderwick.
In Maths, we turned our attentions to prime numbers, multiples, factors and square numbers. We discussed the definition of each word and showed our understanding of them through a range of activities.
Next week, we will be looking at fractions.
The highlight of the afternoons, has to be the CPR workshop run by Watford Fire Service. We learnt about how to check if someone needs CPR and how to administer it (30 chest compressions followed by two breaths).
Also a huge congratulations to our table tennis team, who competed in a competition at Edge Grove School. The children were a credit to the school and Mr Gully had brilliant afternoon watching them compete!
