Week 9

Every year in school, along with the rest of the country, we share in a special assembly to remember those who died in WW1 and WW2. We also think of all members of the services, who are protecting us and others around the world. Our children are always so respectful as they observe a two minutes' silence. This year was no exception. A hundred years have passed, but the bravery and sacrifice of our fellow men and women, reverberated around the hall and our children heard, felt, saw and participated in a show of respect. It is at times like these, that the whole school come together with one purpose, to share in a tribute to those who gave their lives, so that we may live in peace. Lest we forget.
