First of all, we apologise that this is the first update for the summer term! It has been so busy for Year 4, what with the Gaveston Hall trip and so on. We have had an excellent start to the term and as you can see from the curriculum wheel, all of our lessons have been based on the world around us, nature, animals and their habitats, and outdoor learning. This week, we spent some time using our experiences from Gaveston Hall to create persuasive writing pieces, catagorise animals into their groups, map work and journeys in art and much more. Maths has been based on multiplication, specifically the formal written method.
Next week, despite only being 4 days, will focus on division in maths, poetry in English and more topic work based on 'The World Around Us'. Please take a moment to look through our photos, which are some of our best memories from the Gaveston Trip. Even those of us that did not go away, we still had plenty of fun in our learning!
